Introduction to Quantum Computing and Qiskit (Spring 2023)

A 2-WEEK MODULE FOR HIGH SCHOOL COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS

Contact me directly:
1) To get a PowerPoint version of one or both of my presentations to make your own and give to others.
2) To request that I speak to your students or group. (mostly in Southern California)
My newest presentation (download now in pdf file format) is:
"
Quantum 4 Kids - Rainbows, Stars & Atoms:  The size of things and how they are related".

The information here is for "Quantum for High School & College Students."

This newest version of the presentation has the URL links to the Kahoot quizzes embedded in the slides.

Download the newest version of the slides in pdf file format.

A version with the lecture notes may be available later.  Please let me know if you would like this.

Download a specific set of Kahoot examples.

Click here to view the video of the older version of the presentation.  This video is 42 minutes long and may take a minute to open.

My live in-person version of the presentation will be significantly different than the video version because of the updates and I adjust the presentation to the audience and take questions during the talk and provide some answers.  This provides a more interactive time with audience.

The three links here lead to information about a talk I gave at SPIE Optics & Photonics on Aug. 22, 2022
